Geocache Description:

A GAME OF WALKING ABOUT THE COUNTRYSIDE FINDING LOCATIONS AND RECORDING THE FINDS

Land set aside for the modern Scottish Game, originally where pebbles were hit with sticks, along paths and across dunes, The first Rules were set out in 1744 and the rules by which this version of the game are to be played are nothing like the Scottish Guidlines

There is "Golf", "FootGolf", "Frisbee Golf", "Hockey Golf" and there is. . . . .

Health & Safety

While a good walk will do us all good, this is across heathland and not always on regularly used paths, long grass is likely to be encountered and various numbers and types of wild animals are likely to lurking in the undergrowth, be prepared

Take care when crossing roads and when near water

There will be seasonal refreshment on the course, there is certainly apples & blackberrys

Course Etiquette

If there were sand bunkers on the golf course you would be expected to re-instate the sand surface with a rake before moving on, thereby ensuring that everyone has the same fun - the analogy being that once the cache is found, put it back as you found it thereby ensure the challenge is the same for the next finder

The Club House - A good place to start, meet with friends
