It's September so it's CITO Season again! Be sure to come and grab your souvenir before it's full blown rain season too! And if you're going for the monthly 1,000 pts goal, this will be 75 pts to help you out! Score!
As usual, I've partnered with Portland Parks and Rec for this CITO and Steve believes 20 volunteers should easily be able to handle this park. He will not be able to be there so he said he will be meeting up with me in advance to give me supplies, but feel free to bring your own gloves, bags, pick sticks, etc. As usual, buckets are to be emptied into tied trashbags and left next to park trashcans. He will probably leave me a sign in sheet and instructions speech as well since he usually handles that.
It's Comic Con weekend so more people likely means more litter as people picnic in the park so let's help clean up!
This park also has a large splash pad to stay cool or have fun after.
With the con going on, it's suggested to use Park and Ride and take the green line train to the Lloyd Center stop so you can find easier parking, but be aware that the trains may be crowded.
