This rest stop is a popular pull-out along the highway. What many don’t realize is there are beautiful picnic tables just up the hill with a gorgeous view of Columbia Lake (the BEAUTY). Stop for a snack and enjoy the view. The highway is also home to large numbers of deer, particularly along this stretch (the BEASTS). Drive carefully, especially at night!
The cache is a simple container but the hide (we hope) will provide a bit of challenge while still being a quick drive-up cache. Please make sure you put the cache back exactly as you found it. It could be easily muggled otherwise! The long-term viability of this cache is in your hands. Don’t reveal the location while other vehicles are stopped close to the geozone.
