Access Information
This cache is recommended for 4WD access only, but 2WD is possible with care. Caravans and towing vehicles are not recommended to use the track. Access to the cache is via an unposted track (unsealed) from the Kulja-Mollerin Road (unsealed). The nearest major road is Koorda-Mollerin Road (sealed).
General Information
Kularin was first reserved in 1913. In August 1925, a group of settlers asked for permanent water conservation at Kularin Soak as there was a splendid rock catchment at the location. In 1927, a lined dam of 100,000 gallons was built and extended to 250,000 gallons in 1939 and roofed. A low rock catchment wall was also constructed.
Cache Information
This cache is a 1L Sistema with painted camouflage. The cache included toy swaps for the kids, a pen and a logbook at time of placement. There is room for trackables in this cache.
