Access Information
This cache is 2WD accessible. Access is via Bennett Street (unsealed) off the Wyalkatchem-Koorda Road. Caravans and towing vehicles are unable to access the site due to the lack of turning loops.
General Information
This cache is located at the site of the former Cowcowing Hall and the Cowcowing WWII Aircraft Observation Post.
The hall was built circa 1920 with the addition of a supper room in 1932. It was used for social events and also held the annual Cowcowing Ball. The building was removed in 1984 due to the high level of maintenance required and vandalism of the building due to its remote location.
A small plaque commermorates the Hall and a marker and information sign detail information about the former observer's post.
Cache Information
This cache is a 200mL clip lock container. The cache included toy swaps for the kids, a pencil and a logbook at time of placement. There is room for trackables in this cache.
