About the Church itself:
This Place of Worship was founded before 1881, but we understand it was closed after 1983, and the premises are now in secular use.
This Chapel is still marked with a '+' on my OS Map of 1983, but today (2012) it has every appearance of being in private occupation. It is built of irregularly shaped stone, giving it the appearance of flint, with what appears to be light coloured brickwork, or cotswold stone surrounds to the windows, doorway, and the building's corners. There is a central entrance, with a stone canopy sheltering the doorway, and there are two long round-arched windows on either side. There are two plaques above the door, an oblong, immediately above the doorway, and a larger one, above the tops of the windows, which is lozenge-shaped. The latter reads "Baptist Chapel / 1909"; the other is possibly commemorative of the building's consecration.
