I was always interested to see how this spillway would work. Guess that water would flow into Hubbard Creek and under the highway. Or is it intended to flow in the opposite direction? The entire spillway shows as being water on the Geocaching map.

This cache is placed within a few feet of the trail according to park rules to prevent damage to the natural setting. You are walking through nature, so mud, roots and elevation changes are to be expected. The cache is along the 1.25 mile Trillium Trail loop. You can walk the path in either direction. It's a nice view of the lake. The park is open from 6 a.m. to dusk, so no night caching. Please rehide as found.
Hubbard Valley Park has hiking and nature trails, picnic areas with a pavilion, a sledding hill and a lake for fishing. Thanks to the Medina County Park District for supporting Geocaching.
