Welcome to Western Kankakee County IL, Essex Township. This Geocache is near Horse Creek, which may look low in the late summer dry months, but can be very high in the spring. Essex is a small town with a population of about 300 people, and has a post office, a few bars, a restaurant, and just north of town, a Dollar General.
Enjoy the peaceful, quiet surroundings as you search for the geocache. It is NOT on the bridge. :) This road does get traffic so please exercise caution and stealth when in the area. Please bring your own pen.
