When my daughters were young, 15-20 years ago, we had many nicknames for different places around West Chester. There was the Dentist park, near their dentist, the Icky Slide Park, with, you guessed it, an icky slide, the Frog Park, because it had sprinkler frogs. Not all our nicknames were for parks. This place had a nickname too, the Smiley Face Restaurant. At that time there was a giant smiley face wearing a chef's hat on the front near the roof. There was also this metal structure of a baker out front that my daughters loved. They could see it from the road and could see that we were near the Smiley Face Restaurant and they would get a balloon after their meal. Fast forward to today. The smiley face is gone, but the metal baker is still standing.
