Richmond Weekenders Remember Netinator
Welcome to Richmond
We’re kicking off a new location, this year, to continue our Kentucky adventures, but we are missing someone special.
Netinator
An active (to say the least) advocate for the obsession of Geocaching, she is well-known within the geocaching community and around the globe, with:
- 61,433 Total Finds logged
- 64 Countries logged
- 3055 of the 3144 U.S. Counties logged - (only 89 short of visiting EVERY county of the U.S.)
She has joined in the fun of the Berea events and Geotour over the years and is well known for her adventuresome spirit. This year, she is here with us – ‘only in spirit’.
She is, and will be missed.
As a tribute to her loving, friendly, helpful spirit, we will gather for a meet and greet event and remember her as we partake in one of her favorite activities - being with others.
- Date: October 20, 2023
- Time: 6 - 7p.m.
- Location: Irvine McDowell City Park.
We have a shelter, and will enjoy a picnic as we remember Netinator, and all others who have enjoyed the adventures of the cache.
- Hot dogs, baked beans, plates and condiments will be provided, until they're gone.
- Please bring a ‘side’ to share. (and maybe a chair to sit on)
- When you log your ‘will attend’, please note how many are coming and what you are bringing to share, so we have enough. (examples to bring include salads, chips, deserts or your favorite picnic type food.)
Looking forward to the weekend
and to seeing you at the event.
To you, Netinator !!
