Since this event is in conjunction with King County Adopt-A-Road program, there are some rules that need to be followed. Safety protocols will need to be followed. That means that all participates will be required to where safety vests and hats which will be provided. Gloves should be worn during the event. Release forms will also need to be signed before a cacher can participate in the CITO. The forms will act as the event log.Unfortunately, the county prohibits children under 18 to participate in Adopt-A-Road clean up crews. Therefore children under 18 will not be able to participate in this CITO. Since we will be picking up litter along the side of an active, but not very busy road, we need to be aware of our surroundings during the CITO. There will be a general safety briefing prior to the start of the CITO.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
All cachers should bring gloves to the event. Also plan on bringing your beverage of choice (non alcoholic, of course!). If you have a litter grabber, please bring one. There will be a limited number provided by the county.
