The Boston Cream Pie has a long and savory history. It dates back to the late 1800s and a city named Boston. Who would have thought. Anyway back then apparently pies and cakes were not so well defined like they are now and it is more of a cake than a pie. But we won’t quibble.
It is good to celebrate and this is as good a reason as any. This will be the Second Annual Boston Cream Pie Day Celebration (The actual day is October 23). The event was well received last year and maybe it will become a tradition. Let’s get together and discuss Boston Cream Pie or any other pie (or cake) related thing that you enjoy eating. I hope to again provide some samples for you to eat and you can then make a more educated evaluation of this culinary creation.
