Geocache Description:

Back 9 of Rutledge Park

I've been caching for 15 years and this is my southern-most hide to date. Welcome to Rutledge Park tucked away in the southeastern most settlement in the county. Enjoy a stroll around to the back side of the park featuring playground, pavilion, pond, and a picnic tables. Was that enough P's?

This park was open in June 1963 as part of a housing development on the west side of Waldron. The bridge you walked across was moved here from Tamarack from in 1992 to connect both halves of the park. The village purchased the park for the cost of the bridge and the survey cost with a few other conditions if it ceases to be used as a park.

This cache was placed as part of the Poker Run for the 2023 It's the People event. If there are envelops in the container when you find it that is the reason why, you are welcome to them.
