Geocache Description:

This letterbox hybid sits on property owned by the town of Richford. It used to be owned by the Holcombville (later Richford) Faith Tabernacle Church and the Holcombville cemetery. Holcombville itself is believed to be lost in the Michigan Hill State Forest. Not to be confused with present day Holcombville Ny , north of Albany.

Both the church and cemetery have been abandoned. The gravesites date from the 1800"s to the early 1900's. One burial was done in 2007of the Reverend Barbara Johnson, whose services were held in the church.

If you try to send mail here it will end up in the dead letter office.

When you visit be respectful of the area. The cemetery is cared for by a volunteer.

Virtual stage is parking.

No night caching.

The cache contains a stamp and ink pad. This stays with the cache.
