CITO Season 2 has just started a few weeks ago so now we shall now start the 2nd CITO of the year here in Hong Kong, which is the day after Mid-Autumn Festival and the day before National Day (30-9-2023, HKT).Â

30th September, 2023 13:15 - 15:00 (HKT)

Timetable:
13:15Â - Meetup at the CITO location
13:30 - Have a quick meeting and then splitting into groups/different sections of the beach.
14:40Â - Cleaning is over and gather the collected rubbish
14:50 - The collected rubbish shall be thrown away
15:00 - Dismiss

Charges and fees:
Free to attended (Public transportation shall be paid with your own expenses)

Do:
Bring enough water
Bring disposable gloves
Bring Rubbish Bags (White coloured bags recommended)
Bring an umbrella or raincoat (Just in case if it rains)
Bring mosquitoe repellent
Have fun and make friends

Just don't do anything stupid or dumb

How to get here:
By the MTR:
1. Drop off at Sunny Bay Station and exit at exit A
2. Take bus number DB03P

3. Drop off at DB North Plaza (The terminus & meetup location)

By Ferry (from Central):
1. Take the ferry from Central Ferry Pier No. 3
[Whilst you're waiting for the ferry, feel free to find a nearby geocache (GCA9Q52) placed by bulbul]
2. Once you reach Discovery Bay, head over to the Discovery Bay Bus Terminus and either take bus routes 4 or 9. (Bus stop location is placed on the additional waypoints area of this event's page.)
3. Drop off at DB North Plaza (Meetup location)
Please make sure you pay attention to your location as there are no stop announcements available.
Only cash or Octopus is accepted to pay for the busses, E-payment methods or Credit/Debit cards are not accepted.

Weather conditions and warnings (Beach):
If the HKO implements any of these following Weather warnings:
Amber rainstorm warning within 24 hours before the event: The event will continue as planned.
Amber rainstorm warning during the event:
The event shall be postponed to later time of the day or be postponed either the 1st or 2nd of October but likely will not be cancelled.
Red or Black rainstorm warnings 24 hours or during the event: The event will likely be cancelled or postponed.
Typhoon Signal No. 1 24 Hours before or during the event: The event shall go on as planned.
Typhoon Singal No. 3 During the event: The event will either be postponed or cancelled.
Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above within 24 Hours before the event or during the event: The event will most likely be cancelled.
