Poço dos Chefes
O Poço dos Chefes é uma "praia" fluvial localizada na freguesia do Curral das Freiras ,estando a uma altitude de 640 metros. É uma "praia" pouco comum na ilha da Madeira, sendo formada por uma nascente/reservatório natural que deriva da Ribeira dos Socorridos. Todos os anos , quando o caudal diminui e a temperatura aumenta, alguns dos locais e amigos juntam-se para reconstruir. É um otimo lugar para passar uma tarde tranquila e relaxante na natureza, com um cenário deslumbrante, vistas incríveis, silêncio e paz.
Poço dos Chefes is a river "beach" located in the parish of Curral das Freiras, at an altitude of 640 meters. Poço dos Chefes is an unusual "beach" on the island of Madeira, being formed by a natural spring/reservoir that derives from Ribeira dos Socorridos. Every year, when the flow decreases and the temperature increases, some of the locals and friends come together to rebuild. It's a great place to spend a peaceful and relaxing afternoon in nature, with stunning scenery, incredible views, silence and peace.
