Some time ago, I placed a hide called Gravity Wins. It was near, but outside, a pile of collapsed trees, which were covered in nasty thorn bushes.
That should have been a clue: it's in a gully which I suspect floods in heavy rain, which rearranges everything. Oh, and thorn bushes spread.
Now the wiser, that hide has been archived and I've placed a new one higher up the hill.
