I decided to explore this river access road after seeing it on the maps and it took me to a beautiful spot with a restroom, picnic tables, a paved trail, and a nice view of a cool old railroad bridge. I just had to hide a cache at this location. I was surprised there wasn't one already out here.
The cache is just a short walk from the picnic area down a paved path. You'll reach some stairs going down to a dirt path where there is a spot that you can climb up to where the cache is hidden amongst the rocks with a nice view of the bridge.
Watch your step, there is some minor climbing to get up to the cache. Watch out for the usual critters and possible poison oak in the area.
Bragging rights, a $1 bill, and a trackable for the FTF to move along if he or she chooses to do so. A small container with room for small trading items, bring your own pen just in case the one inside runs out of ink, and good luck!
