For our first cache, we hid it in one of our favorite areas. Bring the kids and the dog for this find. The gardens are beautiful in the summer. If you're here on Tuesday mornings there is a cute local market (however this might not be the best time to look for the cache, all those muggles!).
The nearby library branch is one of the best in the city for kids and also has a cache.
