Geocache Description:

This Geocache is part of the Janice Mason Art Museum's 25th Anniversary Geocache event, part of a year long celebration of the arts within Cadiz and Trigg county. There are 7 geocache locations dealing a bit of the history around Cadiz. This one hilights a tragic event that occurred on the old South Road Bridge.

The geocache is located along a hiking trail at the bottom of the hill. Park at the top of the hill and follow the old paved road.. Do Not try to drive down the old road. You can follow the old road all the way to where the old bridge used to be. If you go that far use caution along the river edge. The geocache is located .16 of a mile, before you get to the river. Be cautious after a heavy rain as possible flooding can occur on the river bottom.

The geocache is a 6" x6" orange plastic box with " Janice Mason Art Museum 25th Anniversary Geocache #6 of 7" showing through on the top of the box. To collect a commemorative coin, visit all 7 geocaches and bring a numbered aluminum tree tag from each location to the Janice Mason Art Museum.
