Welcome to the forty sixth in the Gone in 60 Seconds Series
If you are familiar with the movie you will know that there was a list of 50 cars that needed to be boosted (stolen), you do not need to steal any cars to find this cache. To complete the series there will be another 4 caches hidden named after the remaining cars on the list, this is the forty sixth on the list 1966 Shelby AC Cobra - Ashley
Shelby AC Cobra, is a sports car manufactured by British company AC Cars, with a Ford V8 engine. AC exported completed, painted, and trimmed cars (less engine and gearbox) to Shelby who then finished the cars in his workshop in Los Angeles by installing the engine and gearbox. Arguably the most iconic of Shelby’s creations is the AC Cobra, more commonly known as the Shelby Cobra. The Cobra was the car that truly put Shelby on the map in racing. Just 260 street 427 Cobras were produced. The cars had the 427 cubic inch side-oiler big block Ford V8 motor.
In 1966, CSX 3015 S/C was selected and converted into a special model called the Supersnake the "Cobra to End All Cobras." Originally part of a European promotional tour before its conversion. This conversion called for making the original racing model street legal with mufflers, a windshield and bumpers amongst other modifications. But some things were not modified, including the racing rear end, brakes and headers. The most notable modification is the addition of Twin Paxton Superchargers.
Just like stealing cars, stealth must be used at all times.
