Foz do Dão é uma antiga aldeia, pertencente à freguesia de Ovoa, situada no concelho de Santa Comba Dão, distrito de Viseu.
Situada na confluência dos rios Dão e Mondego, a aldeia desapareceu após a construção da Barragem da Aguieira, deixando-a completamente submersa.
Em memória da aldeia com a sua capela, coloquei esta Geocache. As ruínas/fundações ainda são visíveis na maré baixa. Esta Geocache ficará fora de linha na maré alta.

Foz do Dão is an old village belonging to the parish of Ovoa, located in the municipality of Santa Comba Dão, in the district of Viseu.
Located at the confluence of the Dão and Mondego rivers, the village disappeared after the construction of the Aguieira Dam, leaving it completely submerged.
In memory of the village with its chapel, I placed this Geocache. The ruins/foundations are still visible at low tide.
This cache will go of-line at high tide.
