Jubilee Bridge (the resurrection) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Workyticket: As there appears to have been no response from the CO we are archiving this cache listing to prevent it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements in the area. Once a cache is archived for non-responsiveness (including the cache page) it can't be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

You cannot park on the bridge. This cache can only be accessed on foot or by bike.

This resurrected cache which was originally set by myself back in March 2022.  Due to several DNFs and ,at that time, an inability to check on my caches this was archived.  However I decided it was time to reinstate this cache and when I went to put a new cache in place happened to find the cache still there complete with log sheet!!  I have therefore left everything as it was and it still remains there ready for the finding.

This cache is placed on the bridge on the pedestrian/cycle track on the western side of the bridge.  You do not need to cross the carrigeway in order to find this cache.  This is a fast and busy road and there are usually plenty of muggles wlaking/cycling along so stealth is required.

Nearby there is the Bowesfield Nature Reserve which if you have time is worth a visit where you can see plenty of local wildlife and if you're lucky maybe even a black swan (which originate from Australia) swimming on the river.
