Noodling has several different meanings. In reqards to fishing for catfish, one searches for a hole and then reaches in using a hand to catch the fish. You can try this here but instead of a catfish you should get a big cache filled with trinkets to trade, a log sheet to sign. Always BYOP because they often go missing from a cache.
After your cache and release you might enjoy visiting the nearby residents. Some are pretty old.
