BCBFGT-First Presbyterian Church - The Martins Ferry First Presbyterian Church was founded on March 31, 1841 with 16 members. Ebenezer Martin donated four lots at Fourth and Walnut Streets for the erection of the church which cost $2,600. The first service was held in 1842, and still holds weekly church services over 180 years later.
