This cache is on one of the lesser walked trails of the castle grounds but it is definitely an underrated one. When you come within the cache vicinity you will be greeted by dramatic tall but thin trees with almost wispy branches. They remind me of Mirkwood from J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
Parking nearby is TECHNICALLY available but it's quite the trek regardless. You could either park at the castle or at the bridge on the river Creed, both options still require a walk to the cache. Probably not a good idea if you're short on time.
Because of soft ground, rocky paths, and crossing a large trench.. this cache isn't recommended for wheelchairs or buggies.
Suitable for kids but keep an eye on them and assist them over the trench part.
