We hebben onze krachten gebundeld om tot een leuke kerstserie te komen. Althans, dat hopen we. In ieder geval hebben wij er al aardig wat lol aan beleefd. Wie zijn wij? TeamSB&MB en DeborahVanDerLinden.
Kerstcaches
De kerstcaches zullen gepubliceerd worden aansluitend aan het Kerstevent op 26 november. Er zullen een paar verschillende cachetypes uit komen in deze gezamenlijke kerstserie. Mocht je eind december de kerstcaches nog niet gedaan hebben, dan kun je ze altijd nog combineren met het Kerstevent op 29 december.
Waar is de cache?
Bij de eerste 4 waypoints moet je informatie verzamelen om het volgende waypoint uit te rekenen. Vanaf via-punt 5 volg je de omschrijving om de rest van de route naar de cache te kunnen vinden.
De route van beginpunt tot eindpunt en terug naar de parkeerplaats is ruim 7 km. Deze route kan niet met de auto worden gedaan.
Vervoermiddel
Vanwege de afstand tussen de caches raden wij aan om deze serie met de fiets te doen. Let op, de caches liggen verspreid over een ruim gebied in Breda, het is geen trail.
Houdbaarheidsdatum
Kerstcaches hebben per definitie een beperkte houdbaarheid. In dit geval ongeveer tot 1 maart 2024.

CO's working together
We have joined forces to create a fun Christmas series. At least, we hope so. In any case, we have had quite a bit of fun with it. Who are we? TeamSB&MB and DeborahVanDerLinden.
Christmas caches
The Christmas caches will be published following the Christmas event on November 26th. There will be a few different cache types in this joint Christmas series. When it is the end of December and you have not yet found the Christmas caches, you can combine them with the Christmas event on December 29th.
Where is the cache?
You need to collect information at the first 4 waypoints to calculate the next waypoint. When you reach via point 5, you need to follow the description to find the rest of the route to the geocache. From starting point to end point and back tot he parking lot is more than 7 km distance. This route cannot be done by car.
Transportation
Due to the distance between the caches, we recommend doing this series by bike. Please note, the caches are spread over a wide area in Breda, it is not a trail.
Expiration date
By definition Christmas caches have a limited shelf life. In this case approximately until March 1st 2024.

A = number of squares of a grid along the bridge (squares of 1 grid only).
B = number of planks on the bridge.

C = number of piles on the left side of the bridge.

There is a bridge for cyclists on your lefthand side. Just before you cross this bridge, there is a light pole.
D = code on this pole. In case you find letters, transform these to numbers (A=26, B=25, C=24 ... Z=1). D is a number that exists of 3 digits.

Take a look at the grey electricity unit. Above EX you will find letters and numbers.
E = last digit on the fourth row of the left sign (this sign starts with LDGAS).
F = the former-last digit on the same row.
G = the big digit on the third row of the right sign (this sign starts with 79274).

In front of you, there is a small pole with numbers on it. These numbers represent routes. Go in the direction of the route EF, until you arrive at something RED-and-WHITE.
Via point (6) (Trailhead)
At RED-and-WHITE go left until the next crossing.
Via point (7) (Trailhead)
You will find a small pole with numbers on it, representing routes. Go in the direction of FG until the next crossing.
Via point (8) (Trailhead)
Ignore this crossing, go straight forward until you reach a traffic sign with a green arrow on it.
Via point (9) (Trailhead)
Go in the direction that the green arrow is pointing.
Continue this route for about 750 metres.
Cache location (10)
At that point, a tree is in front of you.
Search for the geocache at this tree.
