Geologie Malého Vítkova

Skalní výstup Malého Vítkova je převážně tvořen Křemenným pískovcem. Křemenný pískovec má nejzralejší minerální složení, s velkým obsahem křemene a minimem jílu.

Období, kdy malý Vítkov vznikl je Paleozoikum, které trvalo něco okolo 289 milionu let počínaje před 541 miliony let. Paleozoikum začalo Kambrickou explozí a skončilo Permským vymíráním.

Geneze (původ) horniny je marinní, což znamená, že byli uloženy vlivem činnosti moře.

1) Z listingu zjistěte v jakém období Malý Vítkov vznikl.

2) Zjistěte jaká hornina se nachází na úvodních souřadnicích - z jaké horniny je Malý Vítkov tvořen.

3) Na úvodních souřadnicích se kus skály utrhl a sesypal se. Přistupte (cestou dejte pozor na psí exkrementy) a malý kus horniny si vemte a prohlíděte. Má spíše světlejší nebo tmavší barvu? Poté kámen vraťte.

4) Podívejte se na skálu a zkuste zjistit jaká je hlavní příčina zvětrávání hornin v dnešní době na tomto místě. I kvůli tomu se právě kus skály odlomil.

5) Na úvodních souřadnicích vyfoťte sebe, nebo nějaký svůj osobní předmět před Malým Vítkovem a fotku přidejte k logu

Geology of Small Vítkov

The rocky ascent of Small Vítkov is mainly made of quartz sandstone or skalec quartzite. Quartz sandstone has the most mature mineral composition, with a high content of quartz and a minimum of clay.

The period when Small Vítkov was formed is the Paleozoic, which lasted something like 289 million years, starting 541 million years ago. The Paleozoic began with the Cambrian explosion and ended with the Permian extinction.

The genesis (origin) of the rock is marine, which means that it was deposited by the action of the sea.

1.) From the listing, find out in which period Small Vítkov was created.

2.) Find out what rock is located at the Starting coordinates - what rock Small Vítkov is made of.

3.) At the starting coordinates, a many pieces of rock broke off and fell. Approach (watch out for dog excrement along the way) and pick up a small piece of rock and look at it. Is it lighter or darker in color? Then return the stone.

4.) Look at the rock and try to figure out what is the main cause of the erosion of the rocks here at the moment. And because of that, a lot of rocks broke away from the Small Vítkov.

5.) Take a picture of yourself or a personal item in front of Small Vítkov at the starting coordinates and add the photo to your log
