Long ago when in grade school, I absolutely LOVED the Goosebump series. One of the Goosebump books was called "Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes." Want a corny semi-scary book to read during Halloween to the littles!? Pick that book up! 
My wonderful wife has since fallen in love with the little gnome-type beings where the cap goes over the eyes. She just thinks they are hilarious....but after reminiscing on the old novel that I read when I was a kid.....I can't help but wonder if there is anything more sinister found in the hidden eyes of the deceptively "happy" gnome that sits in our lawn.
Please know that the cache is a puzzle to open....and a puzzle to close.
