Leeds Drink and Chat goes on Tour again... to Pickering!
Leeds Drink and Chat is a series of events that have taken place every month (with a brief, forced, hiatus) for five years. We have had many visitors from far and wide, and over time a relatively large core of attendees has developed. One such evening, one of the chats ventured down the avenue of taking the idea on tour, hopefully visiting some of the finer establishments which are outside of our usual corner of Leeds city centre. The first three Leeds Drink and Chat on Tour events were a success, so now we occasionally like to go a bit further afield to sample the delights of other localities.
As well as the Leeds contingent that we hope to assemble, it would be great to see other local or not so local cachers here, old and new. We are a friendly, chatty bunch, so if you have never been to an event, drop me a message, and I will endeavour to make ourselves known to you and make you feel welcome.
The venue is The Bay Horse Inn, 8 Market Place, Pickering, YO18 7AA. The official event time is 7:15pm until 9:00pm, but a few people may stay longer than this.
The venue serves food and drink, but of course there is no obligation. Food is served until 8pm.
The location is a short walk from Pickering Train Station with direct trains from Whitby, but good luck getting home as the heritage trains will have ended shortly before this event starts! Parking is available at the Ropery, Vivis Lane, or on street in marked bays around Pickering.
