Welcome to Mitchelton GIFF 2023. This event is to showcase the Geocaching International Film Festival nominees for 2023. It has returned to celebrate 10 years of epic geocaching moments captured on camera.
What is it? Geocachers around the world - like you - create short films about geocaching and submit them to Geocaching HQ for judging. Films must have been submitted by 3 Aug 23. During the month of August, the films were reviewed by Geocaching HQ. In September, the finalist films were announced and the filmmakers were notified.
Geocaching HQ is now in the process of creating a film reel with the finalist films. In 2022, over 16 000 cachers attended 425 events which were hosted across 40 countries :>
