Geocache Description:

This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2021 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are still the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.

McHarg Creek Primitive Methodist Chapel
The former McHarg Creek Church property is now privately owned.  The stone chapel with iron roof was opened 1853 in Chapel Street with a manse next door.  The last service held in the Primitive Methodist Chapel was 10 May 1900, with the chapel and manse sold in 1901.  The building has been renovated as a two bedroom property.
