Sunrise to sunset only!
Enjoy a pleasant hike through the park. This one is about a 1/2 mile from the Rt 117 parking area.
There is a large Poplar tree with a double blaze mark for the Horseshoe Trail directly across from a break in the vegitation that gives easier access to the hide location.
As I ventured around looking for a spot to hide a container, I was amazed at the number of pawpaws that were lying around on the ground the last week of September. Many of the other trees that I saw in the park had no fruit.
Sweet smelling crop on the ground 9/30/23
Immature fruit still on the tree.
Here is a link to a 2023 updated map of the park. Due to the forestry project, and some slight trail rerouting, the map that shows on the geocaching app has some outdated information. This section of the park had no changes to the map. Trail Map
