The Vogrie Cachers welcome you back to the beautiful Vogrie Country Park for the Vogrie XI event.
This year we have been allowed to extend the caches out onto the old golf course which will soon be turned into a wildflower meadow so there are a number of longer walks included this year.
As always the coordinates were taken on a number of days with different devices and averaged but please be patient as the GPS signals do like playing hide and seek in the trees.
An easy walking field puzzle, with a distance of less than 500m. Just follow the instructions:
Start at the information board at the listed coordinates
Follow 2 green arrows in quick succession
2m beyond the wooden sign post, look for the single wooden seat / seats
Follow the line of seats
Take the grassy path to the junction
Look left and go to the furthest seat
Walk to the large fir trees in a rough circle
Take the next grassy path on the right
Turn left up the steps
Straight ahead to the telegraph pole
Turn left and head to the large wood triangle
Turn left onto the main path
Immediately there is a multi-species MTT beside the path on the left
Turn right up the muddy slope
First hairy tree
