4" threaded black pvc pipe hidden under natural camo on Cedar Island. Chained to a tree so it doesn't float away during high water. Mr (or Ms) Beaver would probably make a snack out of these trees. You will likely need a tool to open the container after it has been inundated by high water. Mr Beaver has left a couple of sticks for you to use in making a crude tool. Note there is a loop in the chain to facilitate the tool making. Normal swag in the cache plus some CITO bags if you are so inclined.
There is a seasonal foot bridge connecting Cedar Island to MSY Park. At some point during the winter or spring, high water will disable the bridge. When that happens, the only way to access the cache is by boat and/or scuba gear, depending on how high the water gets. Even with the bridge, at water stage 9' or higher, you will get your feet (or more) wet. At about water stage 6.5', a land bridge to the island becomes exposed. You can check the water stage here. https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/hydrograph.php?wfo=pqr&gage=orco3&prob_type=stage&source=hydrograph
