This cache is placed at a beautiful quercus lobata, or valley oak. Quercus lobata are one of the tallest and longest-lived oak species. A valley oak can live up to 600 years! You can most easily identify a valley oak by its lobed leaves.
You're looking for a small, custom cache hanging just inside the canopy of the tree. Thanks to beerslayer2000 for the inner container! I hope I've done the camo justice. This tree appears to get a lot of visitors, so the cache is tucked into one of the bushiest parts of the canopy, on the side closest to the Mockingbird Hill parking lot.
