Sunnyvale's Baylands Park provides a unique blending of natural preserved wetland areas, along with picnic and play fields of a traditional community park. Baylands Park has over seventy acres of developed parkland offering active recreation, pathways and picnic areas for families and large groups. An additional 105 acres of seasonal wetlands is protected as a Wetlands Preserve providing habitat for plants and wildlife.
Over the years Baylands park has had a few caches, although it is currently fairly depleted of cache hides, especially traditionals. This micro cache was placed to help correct that, as well as to bring you to a point where you can appreciate both the developed and the wetland sides of this park.
Note: Seasonal parking fee (currently $6) may apply from March-October, but can be avoided by parking in the nearby Twin Creeks baseball/softball complex parking lot.
Happy caching!
