[Niigata 2km Support Series]
Niigata City has named the 2-km urban center axis connecting Niigata Station, Bandai, and Furumachi, "Niigata 2km".
We have hidden some caches around the area surrounding this urban axis.
We hope that visitors will use "the Niigata 2km Share Cycle" and other services to sightsee Niigata City while geocaching, and feel the charm of Niigata City.
#4 Sansya Shrine
Ryuusakuba was an island at the mouth of a river created by the accumulation of earth and sand carried by the Shinano River.
The shrine was built to pray for the success and safety of the land development project in the area from Niigata Station to Bandai and Toki Messe.
It is said that the shrine is believed to bring blessings for new business development, opening of a company or store, opening of a new business, good fortune and success in life, safety in the home, and fulfillment of one's wishes, due to the fact that the shrine was built on the newly created land in the middle of a major river.

新潟の中心である新潟駅、万代、古町をつなぐ約2kmの都心軸を「にいがた2km」と新潟市は名付けました。
この都心軸周辺エリアを中心にキャッシュをいくつか隠しました。
にいがた2kmシェアサイクルなどを活用してジオキャッシングをしながら新潟市を観光してもらい、新潟市の魅力を感じてもらえたらと思います。
#4 三社神社
信濃川によって運ばれてきた土砂の堆積で誕生した河口の島だった流作場。
現在の新潟駅から万代、朱鷺メッセにあたる周辺の土地開拓事業の成功と安全を祈念して一祠を建立したというのが創建の由縁。
大河の中に新しく生まれた土地に建立された神社であることなどに因み、新規事業開拓、会社・店舗などの開業、開運立身出世、家内安全、心願成就のご利益があるといわれています。
