Nes Ammim was founded in 1963 by European Christians as a sign of solidarity with the Jewish People after the Holocaust. Its theology emphasises the need for dialogue with Jews and also with adherents of other religions.
The bus museum tells the beginning of Nes Ammim. The bus is the first house where they lived in the settlement.
The bus was rolled all the way from Nazareth to the lands of Nes Ammim, and the Petrali couple lived in it.
Today the bus is full of items that were used by the first families in the settlement. It is adjacent to the building where an exhibition tells the story of the establishment of the settlement
