Highland Heights Park is a quiet, restful park tucked into the Alabama Hill Neighborhood ( Often thought of as the Highland Heights Neighborhood.) It encompasses 1.2 acres and is surrounded by trees, shrubs, and fences. It is close to several neighbohood connector trails that will take you to the Railroad Trail.
Amenities include: Benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, play equipment, a 1/2 court basketball court, and open space. Pets allowed on-leash.
Parking is on Vining St near the Park entrance at 2000 Vining St. The park is located between Maryland Place and Illinois Lane.
Park hours are 6:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. No restroom.
WTA has bus stops on north and south sides of Alabamas St located near Erie Terrace (Not far from the Railroad Trail access point and the Alabama Bridge.
