The Turpentine is a tree that is related to the eucalypt.It is not used to produce turpentine oil but got its name from the turps like smell produced when it's leaves are crushed.It can grow to 60 meters in height.Its scientific name is Syncarpia glomulifera.In this small pocket of bush there are quite a few Turpentines as well as Angopheras,Casuarinas and Black Butts.It's a tough little spot so good on these trees for having a go!
