Geocache Description:

The start coordinates should bring you to a spot roughtly midway between the men's and women's toilets. With your back to the road, men to the left, women to the right. They are well signposted so you shouldn't end up in the wrong unit. Constructed of creamy yellow painted weatherboards with a dark red corrugated iron roof, they look as if they have been around for a while. I've only described the inside of the women's building and I assume the men's will be similar with a urinal or two and no sanitary waste disposal units. If there happens to be an absence of rubbish bins then they do have one outside a few metres from the door.

The entry door is a dark red colour. Despite the warning outside, I was caught out by the step down to the old wooden floor boards. Straight ahead is the stainless hand basin and at the time of my visit there was a pump action container of anti bacterial liquid soap on it. Only cold water is available. Attached to the wall above there was also another liquid saop dispenser. To the right, on the wall there was a decorative 8 sided mirror as well as what looks like the remains of a soap dispenser holder. On the wall to the left is a container of paper hand towels. At GL, in each corner is a rubbish bin.

There are two cubicles to choose from, one to the right and one to the left. Both bowls are a white cermanic material with the typical white plastic seat with lids. The cisterns are white plastic and you have the choice of full or half flush. The cubicle on your right has a hand rail and a window. Each has a toilet roll dispenser that holds two large rolls as well as a holder beneath that is typical of many residential houses. These were lacking any toilet paper and I suspect that they have been supersceded by the larger dispenser above. Each cubicle has a sanitary disposal unit as well as a toilet brush sitting in its holder. The latter is something I don't normally see in public toilets. The right hand sidecubicle has a coat hook behind the door. The left hand cubicle door was held open by a rock at the time of my visit. That cubicle has no natural light but there is a light switch just inside the main door for the light there and in the hand basin area.

The walls and ceiling are wooden, painted an off white colour.

They give the appearance of been available 24/7. There is a bolt to close the main door when you leave as well as for the cubicles.

Overall, despite the age there is nothing that is offputting. No obvious hint of mal odour.

To find the 50ml cache, do a projection from the published coordinates in the direction of 212.3 degrees from North, for a distance of 425.5 metres.
