This park is one of those hidden gems that not a lot of people know about. This letterbox will let you see a little bit of what this park has to offer. Do not take the stamp as it is part of the letter box. Park hours are from dawn to dusk. The starting point is the trailhead just off of the parking lot. Proceed North down the trail until you reach a bench just off to the right side. You can tell that's been kind of dry out here as there used to be a nice little pond back here but has since dried up. Anyway keep proceeding North on the trail and you will then pass a couple of other small open type areas the second one being near what was the North end of the pond. Proceed just a little ways farther and you will come across a very large tall pine tree. At this point you'll see a small footpath that heads in an easterly direction and then goes up a small hill. It is now that you should be able to spot a white sign that is nestled between a couple of trees informing you of the boundary of where horses May travel. Had a little farther to the East and then you should be able to spot in the distance towards the North a couple of leaning trees that are forming an X. Head towards that spot and then about 15 ft west of that spot you should find what you seek hidden by another couple fallen trees. Have fun and enjoy.
