Κυνηγι μανιταριων ή κυνηγι θυσαυρού;

Τα Πιέρια όρη είναι ορεινός όγκος βορειοδυτικά του Ολύμπου. Η έκτασή τους μοιράζεται ανάμεσα στους Νομούς Πιερίας, Κοζάνης και Ημαθίας. Αποτελούν ένα εκτεταμένο βουνό, εξαιρετικά δασωμένο και με χαρακτήρα. Έχει αρκετά μονοπάτια και πεζοπορικές διαδρομές και ξεχωρίζει για το τοπίο και την ηρεμία που προσφέρει. Αποτελεί τη ΒΔ προέκταση του Ολύμπου με ψηλότερη κορυφή το Φλάμπουρο (2.188 μ.) (φωτο)

Mushroom hunting or treasure hunting?

The Pieria Mountains are a mountain range northwest of Mount Olympus. Their expanse is divided among the prefectures of Pieria, Kozani, and Imathia. They constitute an extensive mountain range, heavily wooded and with a distinctive character. The area boasts numerous trails and hiking routes and is renowned for the serene landscapes it offers. It represents the northwestern extension of Mount Olympus, with its highest peak being Mount Flampouro (2,188 meters). (photo)

Το καταφύγιο βρίσκεται σε ένα μικρό άνοιγμα, σε ύψος 1700 περίπου μέτρων, με θέα στο Θερμαϊκό Κόλπο και τον Όλυμπο, μέσα σ’ ένα πανέμορφο πευκοδάσος. Διαθέτει 90 κρεβάτια, σάλα, οργανωμένη κουζίνα και ότι άλλο θα ήθελε ο επισκέπτης που επιθυμεί να γνωρίσει τα Πιέρια όρη. ΔΥΣΤΥΧΩΣ ΔΕΝ ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΕΙ ΠΑΡΑ ΜΟΝΟ ΣΕ ΕΛΑΧΙΣΤΕΣ ΕΞΑΙΡΕΣΕΙΣ! Για τους φίλους του βουνού υπάρχουν μικρές διαδρομές και δίκτυο σημαδεμένων μονοπατιών για πεζοπορία, δασικοί δρόμοι για ποδηλασία και αναρριχητικό πεδίο 5-25 μέτρων.

ENGLISH:

The refuge is situated in a small clearing at an altitude of approximately 1,700 meters, with a view of the Thermaic Gulf and Mount Olympus, nestled within a beautiful pine forest. It features 90 beds, a lounge, a well-equipped kitchen, and everything else a visitor desiring to explore the Pieria Mountains might need. REGRETTABLY, IT OPERATES ONLY IN VERY LIMITED EXCEPTIONS! For mountain enthusiasts, there are small hiking trails, a network of marked paths for hiking, forest roads for cycling, and a climbing field with routes ranging from 5 to 25 meters.

Εδω ερχομαστε για καμπινγκ με την οικογενεια και το σημειο που κρυψαμε την κρυπτη μας ειναι ενα εντυπωσιακο σημειο στο πρωτο μερος της διαδρομης προς το Φλαμπουρο. Ο τοπος ειναι γεματος με μανιταρια και θελει πολυ προσοχη για να βρεις οσα ειναι ακινδυνα για τον ανθρωπο. Μονο με εναν ειδικο στην αναγνωριση τους θα πρεπει να επιχειρησετε το κυνηγι τους, εαν δεν εχετε εναν γνωστη τοτε αρκεστειτε σε αυτο που ξερετε να κανετε καλυτερα, κυνηγι θησαυρου!

Κατευθυνθειτε στο σημειο οπου το φαντασμα του φυλακα δεντρου φυλαει την κρυπτη μας! και καλο κυνηγι!

This is where we come for camping with our family, and the spot where we hid our treasure is an impressive location in the early part of the trail to Flampouro. The place is abundant in mushrooms and requires a great deal of attention to identify those that are safe for consumption. Only with an expert in their recognition should you attempt mushroom hunting. If you don't have a knowledgeable companion, then stick to what you know best – treasure hunting!
