Located in Spencer Spit State Park on Lopez Island. Drive or bike about five miles from the ferry landing to the park. Parking may be limited or closed during the off season. When you can park, you'll have to pay $5 for day use, or pony up $50 for a year-long pass (which amazingly isn't prorated if you buy it half way through the year).
The cache is hidden in the woods, ten yards or so off the nearest trail. The terrain is a bit steep at the very end. It isn't dangerous, but you may have to scramble. The cache is a medium-sized tupperware containter wrapped in a black plastic bag.
