Geocache Description:

These toilets are attached to the local community hall, located on the corner of Swansea St (State Highway 87) and Brown St.

From the posted coordinates, facing the concrete block addition to the old wooden building you will see the women's to your right and the men's to your left. A common ramp will give access to both units. I'll describe the women's and if possible, at a later date I'll add some info about the men's as it comes to hand.

As you open the red door you will be faced with a spacious area with a slatted bench along the left wall. Above this is a fold down nappy changing table. Furthur along the wall is a board with six coat hooks on it.

The rear wall has a plum coloured red door that is locked. Presumably during events at the community hall this is unlocked to give participants access to the loos. Next to this is a white cermanic hand basin with a small bench surrounding it. The tap is the press down type to get the water to flow. Directly above it is a mirror. To the right of it is a paper towel holder. Next is the 3 "P" sign, something that has been added to the Dunedin public loos recently.

The other wall has three cubicles, each with a white cermanic toilet bowl with the ubiquous white plastic seat and lid. Each has a white plastic water cistern with a dual flush button. In addition, there is a sanitary disposal unit and a toilet brush in a holder. Toilet paper is from the large roll and each holder holds two roll.

The cubicle closest to the maindoor is roomy enough for a wheel chair and there is the addition to the wall beside the loo, a hand rail. This cubicle has its own hand basin, a stainless steel affair with a cack of soap provided. Instead of paper towels for hand drying there is a hot air dispenser. A mirror is provided above the hand basin. This one has two windows whereas the other two have one each.

The floor inside appeats to be concrete, painted darkish grey. The walls, apart from the rear are concrete blocks. The rear wall is lined. wall colour is off white.

Cubicle doors have a handle, fixed at one end and you rotate the other end down. Locking the cubilce involves sliding a light weith bolt. Inside each door us a coat hook. The middle cubicle had on the inside of its door a poster highlighting some of the features of the area, mainly the stone cottages.

Now to get the information to find the cache you will need to look at the outside of this hall addition as well as the information board "Middlemarch" a few metres away at the intersection. No need to cross any roads.
