You are looking for a duct-taped pill bottle hidden in a common spot. No room for swag or trackables. Will be harder to find with snow on the ground.
Just to the east of this location is Rattlesnake Mound. Many years ago we placed caches named "The Head of the Snake," "The Back of the Snake," and "The Rattles of the Snake" that we hoped would encourage people to enjoy the drive along scenic 14th Court. Although "Rattles" has a place to park with a great view of the rock formation in the state natural area (and hiking is allowed there), most of the mound was hidden beyond the forest of trees while traveling this part of the country road.
On one of my recent wandering drives along 14th Court I noticed that there had been some extensive logging that now exposes views of Rattlesnake Mound from the coordinates of this cache and to the south. Approaching GZ from the south will give drivers the best views, and the unofficial road hiking route of the Ice Age Trail (western birfurcation) goes all along this road. I don't know what the plans are for where the logging has taken place, but hopefully the views will be preserved.
Everything on the east side of the road along here is private property, so stop to find this cache, take in the view, and continue on. If you want park to do some exploring of the very south end of Rattlesnake Mound, head to N 43° 52.486 W 089° 50.543. Other views of Rattlesnake Mound can be appreciated by looking west from Highway 13, looking north from Edgewood Drive just west of Highway 13, and turning north on the dead end 13th Drive where "Rattlesnake Ramble" (GC3K6N0) will take you all the way to the turnaround at the end of that road and back.
