ATTENZIONE: CACHE NON ADATTA AI BAMBINI.
Nel centro di Bologna si è consumata una terribile tragedia: un uomo è stato trovato morto all'interno di una stanza del campanile della basilica di San Petronio. Con questa Wherigo impersonerete il detective Biagio Ologna (B. Ologna) e la sua collega Maria Odena (M. Odena) e tenterete di risolvere il caso.

In questo listing, nella prossima sezione, trovate un'introduzione e una panoramica generale del caso. Dovete leggerla per farvi un'idea di come si sono svolti i fatti. Inoltre, in allegato, trovate un PDF in cui sono raccolti tutti gli indizi e le testimonianza dei personaggi coinvolti, cruciali per risolvere il caso.
Mentre giocate la cartuccia dovete stabilire chi è il colpevole, e la dinamica dell'omicidio. Vi verranno poste delle domande, le cui risposte dovete dedurre controllando il file PDF in allegato. Piano piano, la cartuccia vi guiderà alla soluzione, che si mostrerà passo per passo. Avete da camminare per circa 2.5 km, in gran parte per il centro di Bologna. La cache finale si trova poco fuori le mura. Le coordinate le avrete ovviamente se riuscirete a risolvere la Wherigo.
ATTENZIONE: Vi consiglio con il cuore in mano di stampre il PDF e averlo in mano fisicamente, mentre avete la cartuccia aperta sul telefono. Oppure se siete in due, uno dovrebbe tenere la cartuccia aperta e l'altro dovrebbe tenere il PDF. Vi dico questo perchè se passate da un'app all'altra mentre avete la cartuccia aperta, specialmente durante un dialogo, rischiate che l'app crashi. Purtroppo è un problema che non dipende da me. Per minimizzare le possibilità che ciò accada evitate assolutamente di cambiare app durante i dialoghi, e salvate tra un dialogo e l'altro, così in caso di crash non dovete ricominciare tutto da capo.
Se doveste avere problemi ad installare la cartuccia, o doveste bloccarvi perchè un passaggio è troppo difficile, resto sempre a disposizione per eventuali chiarimenti. Vedo i messaggi dall'app praticamente subito, quindi a meno che non stia lavorando o facendo qualcosa di importante risponderò in breve tempo.
Non ho mai provato a creare una Wherigo, questa è la mia prima volta, quindi se dovessero esserci errori o problemi vi chiedo di farmeli notare, e li correggerò. Vi chiedo solo di essere clementi e soprattutto educati, anche per rispetto dell'enorme lavoro che c'è stato dietro la realizzazione della cache.
Se la cache finale dovesse essere sparita, cosa che purtroppo in città può capitare, mandatemi una prova del fatto che avete completato la cartuccia, e ve la farò loggare comunque come found. Penso sia un peccato giocare tutta la wherigo e poi non trovare la cache finale.
Il tempo totale di gioco è circa un'ora/un'ora e mezza.

Panoramica del caso
Questa mattina era pianificato un intervento di manutenzione delle campane della basilica di San Petronio, che ultimamente non erano perfettamente sincronizzate. Ad occuparsi di questo intervento doveva essere il meccanico, che era già stato chiamato altre volte dal prete per interventi simili.
Il meccanico è arrivato sul posto la mattina presto. Ha piovuto a dirotto tutta la notte, ed era parecchio zuppo. Appena arrivato, si è diretto verso la stanza delle campane, che si trova ad un'altezza di circa 50 metri da terra. Purtroppo, si è reso conto di non riuscire a trovare la chiave della stanza. Esiste un'unica copia di questa chiave, che il prete aveva affidato a lui, siccome è l'unico che si reca abitualmente lì per effettuare delle manutenzioni. Il meccanico ha cercato la chiave tra gli attrezzi, ha svuotato tutte le tasche, è anche tornato a casa per cercare lì, ma niente: la chiave non è saltata fuori. Ha chiesto allora al prete il permesso di poter buttare giù la porta a spallate. Quest'ultimo ha dato il consenso, e anzi, ha offerto il suo aiuto. I due sono quindi tornati insieme verso la porta,e l'hanno buttata giù. Purtroppo quello che si sono trovati davanti li ha terrorizzati e lasciati senza parole...
In preda al panico, i due uomini hanno chiamato la polizia, e qui entrano in gioco anche i detective Ologna e Odena.
Il cadavere è un uomo di circa 30 anni, è morto dissanguato a causa di una serie di pugnalate che gli sono state inflitte su tutto il corpo, ma principalmente sulla schiena. Non c'era traccia dell'arma del delitto. Si pensa che l'omicidio sia avvenuto la notte precedente.
I detective hanno ispezionato la stanza. Si tratta di un caso di omicidio a porte chiuse, infatti oltre alla porta (che era chiusa a chiave), nella stanza è presente una singola finestra, che però al momento del ritrovamento era bloccata da una serranda, come possono confermare il prete e il meccanico. Tutti gli schemi della stanza e i dettagli sono stati inseriti nel file PDF in allegato.
Si pensa che, visto il luogo in cui è stato trovato il cadavere, il colpevole sia uno tra i frequentatori della chiesa. Questi sono stati interrogati singolarmente e le loro testimonianze sono state raccolte nel PDF. Nessuno di loro cinque ha un alibi per la notte precedente e tutti dichiarano di non conoscere la vittima.
Il meccanico: Inutile dire che è il sospettato principale, siccome aveva lui la chiave della stanza. Potrebbe avere tranquillamente mentito sulla sua sparizione.
Il prete: La sua fede in Dio non conosce confini, è molto rispettato dalla comunità, ed è un punto di riferimento.
La suora: Anche lei è molto devota a Dio. Ha preso i voti solo da qualche mese, nessuno sa cosa l'abbia spinta a fare questo.
La devota: Una assidua frequentatrice della chiesa, non perde mai una messa. Spesso si ferma a disquisire con il prete anche dopo la fine delle cerimonie. Osserva sempre gli altri frequentatori dalla chiesa e conosce i fatti personali di tutti.
Il monaco: Un monaco buddhista che si trova presso San Petronio per studiare la religione cristiana. Aiuta il prete e la suora a tenere tutto in ordine e a fare le pulizie.

In the city center of Bologna tragedy struck: a man has been found dead in a room inside San Petronio's bell tower. In this Wherigo cache you will impersonate detective Biagio Ologna (B.Ologna) and his colleague Maria Odena (M.Odena) in an attempt to solve the case.
Instructions
In this listing, in the next section, you will find an introduction and an overview of the case. You have to read it to have an idea of how the case unfolded. Moreover, you will find a PDF file in which all clues have been gathered, together with the testimonies of the characters involved in the murded. These will be crucial to solve the case.
As you play the cartridge, you have to estabilish who the culprit is, and the dynamics of the murder. You will be asked quesitons, and you have to deduce the answers by carefully reading the PDF file. As you answer the questions, you will be guided towards the solution. You will have to walk about 2.5 kilometers around the center of Bologna. The final container is hidden not far from the city walls. If you complete the Wherigo, you will obtain the coordinates.
WARNING: I strongly advise you to print the PDF file and keep it in your hands while you play the cartridge on your phone. Or if you are two or more people, someone should have the cartridge open, and the other person should check the PDF on a separate phone. Unfortunately, the app might crash if you switch from an app to another, especially during a dialogue. Unfortunately, this does not depend on me. To minimize the chances of this happening, avoid switching apps during dialogues, and save a lot, especially between dialogues.

Case overview
This morning, maintenance to the San Petronio's bells was planned, since they weren't synchronized properly. The person tasked with this was the mechanic, which in the past was already called by the priest to perform similar tasks.
The mechanic got to the bell tower early in the morning. It rained all night long, and he was soaking. As soon as he arrived, he got to the bell room, which is 50 meters high. Unfortunately, he realized he couldn't find the key to the room. Only one copy of this key exists, and it was given by the priest to the mechanic, which is the only person who usually goes in there. The mechanic looked for the key everywhere: he emptied his pockets, checked his toolbox, he even went back home to check if he had forgotten it there, but with no success. He then asked the priest permission to kick down the door. The priest said yes, and he even offered his help. The two went back to the bell room and smashed the door open. Unfortunately, they didn't expect to find a dead man in there...
The two men panicked, and immediately called the police. Here is when Ologna and Odena come in.
The corpse is a 30 years old man. He was stabbed multiple times to his back and his chest, bleeding to death. There was no trace of the murder weapon. It is believed that the murder took place the night before the discovery of the body.
The detectives checked the room. It's a locked door mystery: the door was locked from the inside, and the only window in the room was locked by a shutter, this was confirmed by the priest and the mechanic. A map of the room and all the details can be found in the PFD file.
The detective think that due to the circumstances, the culprit is someone associated with the church. Five people have been interrogated, and their testimonies have been written down in the PDF file. None of them has an alibi for that night and everyone declared that they didn't know the victim.
The mechanic: Of course he's the main suspect, since he had the key to the room. He could have lied about losing it.
The priest: His faith in God knows no bounds. He's beloved by everyone going to the church.
The nun: She is also very devoted to God. She became a nun a few months ago, noone knows why she made this decision.
The worshipper: She always goes to the church to pray, and never misses a single mass. She often speaks with the priest even after the ceremonies are over. She observes and judges everyone else going to the church and knows about their business.
The monk: A buddhist monk who is currently in San Patronio to study the christian religion. He helps the priest and the nun with cleaning the church in exchange for hospitality.
