At the time of placing my first cache nearby, I gave no consideration to the previous or future milestones as it was a spur of the moment kind of decision.
Fast forward nearly three years and my find count has tripled! This prompted me to begin scouting out five more locations, one for each of the major milestones. This one is in celebration of my **1000th find** GC7WCTK on August 29, 2020. I chose this location as it is a short walk from the end of the Public Rest Stop.
I don't recommend parking near GZ for too long especially during the weekday as it is primarily for transport trucks. Cords are as accurate as I could get them but it should be a fairly easy find unless there is a large accumulation of snow. In hindsight I should have hung it up higher but that would make it much more visible and prone to muggles in the spring and summer months.
I gave away the patch and no longer have the jacket as bushwacking destroyed it. Wow! How time flies when you're having fun!!
