Geocache Description:

Things you might need, and find nice to have, on a warm summer's evening. Just south of Aalborg, Denmark!

"On a warm summer's evening" was created on one of those nice summer evenings, after a whole day of more or less rain. It is supposed to contain just that: What you might need or find nice to have on a warm summer's evening! (The name of the cache refers to "The Gambler" by Kenny Rogers)

The cache is a tupperware box, dimensions about 30x20x10 cm

The initial cache contents:
  • 1 candle and a box of matches
  • 50 grams of Cafe Noir coffee
  • 7W Energy-saving bulb (small socket)
  • 1 climbing wall hold
  • 1 fishing lure ("The Tasmanian Devil")
  • Finder's certificates for the three first finders
  • ...and of course a log book and a pencil

No kippers? Why, you might ask...well, i just did not have any at the time i created the cache. Maybe, they will be there some day!

When you have found the cache, feel free to exchange one of the items, and write an entry in the log book! Don't forget to spend a few minutes enjoing the view to the south. If you would like to sit down for a few minutes, there is a bench about a hundred metres west of the cache. Just follow the road!

Added February 2012: This is one of the oldest geocaches in Denmark. The 2. oldest in Nordjylland.
After the adoption of this cache from the former owner Tue I haven't changed anything in the cachedescription or added attributes because I want to keep everything as close as possible to the original. The only thing I've changed is the box. It's now a 0,8 liter flipbox.
